The Posh Story
Posh Tot Events is a full service event planning company that specializes in unique theme parties for Children and Moms. Now operating inside our new event venue in Historic Roswell, The Gilbert House, we offer summer camps, parents night out and holiday events in addition to fabulous all-inclusive birthday parties and baby shower packages.
The company was created in 2007 by co-founders Shannon Masterson and Jennifer Shields when a shared love for event planning, combined with the dilemma of planning birthday parties for their children on the same weekend lead to the idea for Posh Tot Events. Recognizing a need for something beyond the typical jump house birthday party options, they created Atlanta's first full service theme party packages. As the only event planners in Atlanta dedicated to planning fabulous events for children, local parents quickly took notice and the business took off.
Posh Tot Events is owned and operated by Jennifer Shields. She earned a bachelor of arts in both English and Journalism from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and brings creativity, passion and more than a decade of corporate experience in marketing, event planning and project management to Posh Tot Events. A mother of 3 young children herself, she has her pulse on the latest trends in children's parties allowing her to constantly keep the themes and format of Posh Tot Event parties fresh and unique.

When not dreaming up new party designs or business ideas, Jennifer enjoys travel, reading, trying new restaurants and spending time with her husband Tim and their three children, Ava (9) and Austin (7) and Allison (1 months).
