The Posh Story The creative vision for Posh Tot Events was developed by Shannon Masterson and Jennifer Shields in 2007. A shared love for event planning combined with the dilemma of planning birthday parties for their children on the same weekend started the serendipitous conversation that led to Posh Tot Events. The business was officially launched in August of 2007 at The East Cobber Parade and Festival in Marietta, GA. As the only event planners in Atlanta dedicated to planning fabulous children’s event, local parents quickly took notice and the business took off. Posh Tot Events has developed a strong local following in Atlanta and has been chosen by celebrity clients such as Nicole Ari Parker and Boris Kodjoe and local radio personality Bert Weiss of Q100’s “The Bert Show”, to plan their children’s birthday parties. The company has built a name for themselves as Atlanta’s premier party planners for children with their impeccable style and outstanding client services. Posh Tot Events has been featured in the Atlanta Journal Constitution, Points North Magazine, Daily Candy Kids and Atlanta Based Q100’s “The Bert Show” and on CBS Better Mornings. Our work is featured on several party planning blogs as well as in the online and print versions of Occasions A La Mode Magazine. The Posh Team

Camille has a passion for planning events of all types. She joined the Posh Tot Event team in October of 2009 as an intern and has since moved on to her current role as Lead Coordinator managing all of the onsite details at many of our events, running the Princess Camps, managing the “Posh Interns” and helping to keep Jennifer sane! She received her B.S. in Sport Management from Georgia Southern University and her M.S. in Sport Administration from Georgia State University. After completing her Master’s degree it was clear for her that she wanted to be involved in the event planning business and she is pursuing that dream with Posh Tot Events.
Brittany is currently a junior at Georgia State University, majoring in public relations with a minor in hospitality. She recently realized her love for event planning and was more than happy to join the Posh Tot staff as a summer intern for 2010. Before Posh Tot Events, Brittany spent most of her life as a dancer, even teaching her own classes once graduated. Her classes gave her great experience with children that she still uses today at the parties and princess camps she helps manage. In addition to helping plan and facilitate events, she serves as our posh dance instructor at princess camps and ballet themed parties and manages Posh Tot Events’ Social Media presence.
